Adam brings 25 years of legal experience with a strong focus on regulatory and environmental compliance, litigation, natural resources law, water rights, land use, real estate law, and deal-making. He represents a diverse range of clients—including international corporations, private and public companies, government agencies, individuals, developers, lenders, and investors—across virtually all aspects of environmental and regulatory compliance, planning, due diligence, and risk management.

Adam has a particular expertise in air quality issues and has been deeply involved in Colorado’s greenhouse gas regulatory landscape since the program’s inception. He served as a primary negotiator for the cement and steel industries during the establishment of Colorado’s greenhouse gas regulatory program and continues to play a vital role in shaping and implementing the state’s greenhouse gas regulations, representing a wide range of industrial interests.
